Established in 2014 by Martin and Rachel Ashby, Ashby Interiors Limited is based in Melbourne, South Derbyshire.

Rachel is involved in all aspects of Ashby Interiors. This includes photography and liaising with customers to discuss their exact requirements. Our other member of staff, Lorna, is our Shop Manager. She is just as enthusiastic about antiques and vintage lighting so you’re always in good hands with Ashby Interiors!

Martin Ashby worked for 30 years in the aerospace industry and is a Chartered Engineer. With a passion for antique and vintage lighting, Martin tenaciously sources and restores antique lights. He then works on them to ensure that they are ready to install. We also manufacture our own components from our workshop in traditional early 20th century styles. At Ashby Interiors, we like to offer our customers a personalised service on cable colours, and patina of brass plus a sourcing service.

Whether it is our aeronautical range that interests you, or you are captivated by our antique lighting, we will share as much information as we can on the history of the item and its provenance. This is because we know that this is what matters to our valued customers!

Our showroom is based in Melbourne, South Derbyshire. It showcases the very best of the antiques and specialist lighting products that we have for sale – this includes a huge range of unique and specialist antique lighting.
