For a sculpture with true wow factor take a look at this 8ft propeller Blade. Made of aluminium, it has been patiently polished to achieve a beautiful mirror shine. Mounted on a mild steel base for safety and with the added detail of an aircraft brake disc.
A little bit of history for you – this blade originates from a Shorts Belfast heavy-lift turbo-prop freighter which was used by the Royal Air Force. Introduced in 1966 and retired in 1976. This aircraft was powered by four Rolls-Royce Tyne Turbo-prop Engines.
A truly exceptional piece. Nothing of comparable size and quality available for sale in the United Kingdom at this time. Items for sale in USA are offered for four times this price…
