‘Alex’ Small Art Deco Bee Hive Shaped Opaline Pendant Light (22004) RESERVED

‘Alex’ Small Art Deco Bee Hive Shaped Opaline Pendant Light

This light fitting dates back to the Art Deco era.

An unusual shape to the shade – it resembles a beehive with rippled sides.  Topped with the original aged brass gallery which has been lightly waxed.

This style of light is often called a chapel light or a school house light and is typical of the Art Deco period.

The opaque quality of the layer glass gives off a wonderful even glow when lit yet is still eye-catching when the light is switched off.

White glass lighting from the early 20th century never dates and looks equally stylish in a period home or a modern setting.

To personalise our white glass lighting we give them individual names.  This one has been named ‘ALEX’.

Wired with 1 metre of antique gold fabric twisted cable.   Other colours are available.  See image in photo gallery.

Suspension chain and hooked ceiling plate supplied.

Size – Overall height 20cm.  Diameter of shade 26cm.

Please allow 10 working days for dispatch. However, if you need this item sooner, please let us know.

This light will be wired to order with a new B22 bulb holder and PAT tested prior to dispatch.

Please note that vintage lighting may have some age related scratches and marks or slight manufacturing flaws.
