This beautiful and delicate pendant light is made from the drag chute of a BL-755 cluster bomb. They were used extensively in both the Falklands conflict and the Iraq war from Jaguar Aircraft. The flexible inert metal prongs would open up on deployment. Their purpose was to steady the bomblet as it fell.
A brass circular plate has been added and a simple cord grip fitting.
Supplied with an Edison style filament bulb which looks perfect against the bronzed patina of the metal.
Supplied with a cord grip ceiling plate in either polished brass or aged brass – customer to specify.
Lights are rewired as standard with 1 metre of braided flex in dark brown though many other colours are available.
Supplied with a new B22 bayonet fitting and independently PAT tested prior to dispatch.
