WWII Era Signalling Device – Converted into a Table Lamp
A great table lamp for anyone interested in WWII history.
This lamp was originally used for signalling with Morse code. Kept in original condition, with concave silver lens and black paint finish showing signs of wear plus the original badge dated 1945. ‘Admiralty pattern 5110.E’
Originally a hand held item, it has now been mounted onto a heavy solid brass base.
There is a small scope fitted to the top. Lens inside is still intact.
The angle of the light is adjustable via the wing nut adjuster on the base.
Please note that the light is now a constant source and can no longer be used for signalling purposes.
Size 46cm high. Lens 15cm diameter. Weight 4kg
Wired with approximately 2 metres of black fabric covered flex triple flex. Fitted with a brass B22 bayonet bulb holder.
