Hand Made Wooden Chest Decorated with Ship

An old, hand made wooden chest, with a hinged lid and hasp fastener.  There is a fastened padlock on the bottom section of the hasp fastener but no key.

At some point in the history of this piece, a ship has been painted onto the top.

With original side handles.

In original condition, the box has simply been cleaned and waxed.

Size – 30cm high.  60cm wide.  32cm deep Heavy item – approx 8kg
