Large French Vintage Mantle Mirror with Black Frame

A striking mirror with a painted black frame and gilt detail.

Condition – the black painted finish has scratches and marks.  The mirror glass has some superficial age damage – some minor clouding or foxing.   see photos for more detail of condition.

A heavy mirror.  Ideally to be placed on a mantle shelf.  There is a small hook on the back which would keep it in place on a shelf but not to bear the full weight of the mirror.

Size – 105cm x 75cm.  Heavy item.

Rough planked back with a hook in the centre.
