Large Opaline Glass Chapel Light with Copper Gallery
A modern glass shade made in a traditional style fitted with a tapered copper gallery which has a dark, oxidised finish. This gallery is our own design and has been manufactured here in the Midlands. Hand-finished with a decorative hoop, brass band detail and our own design brass screws.

This style of light is often called a chapel light or a school house light and is typical of the Art Deco period.
The opaque quality of the layer glass gives off a wonderful even glow when lit yet is still eye-catching when the light is switched off.
White glass lighting from the early 20th century never dates and looks equally stylish in a period home or a modern setting.
Opaline white glass became very popular during the Art Deco period and was produced in many different shapes and styles. Geometric designs and simple shapes were typical of the Art Deco period.
Wired with 1 metre of dark brown fabric twisted cable. Other colours are available at no extra charge.
Suspension chain and hooked ceiling plate supplied.
