Large Wrought Iron Arts and Crafts Lantern
A good sized antique lantern. With a simple wrought iron frame in black finish and nicely contrasting copper leaf detail.
Fitted with a striped vaseline glass shade dating which is an original piece. Please note that there is a small chip to the rim of the shade but this is concealed behind the frame of the lantern.
A bold piece and a perfect addition to an Arts and Crafts period property.
Height from bottom of lantern to top of hanging hoop 77cm. Width at widest point 44cm
Glass tube measures 20.5cm wide x 23cm high.
Wired with approx. 1 metre of black braided flex. Fitted with a new bayonet fitting (size B22). PAT tested by an independent electrician. Other colours are available.
All our antique lighting is restored in our workshop in Melbourne, South Derbyshire. We welcome you to visit and choose an unrestored item so that you can customise that piece with the colour cable of your choice.
Supplied with 1 metre of matching suspension chain and a hooked ceiling plate with aged brass finish.
