Nice original piece of British Engineering History. This round sign shows the initials and logo BT-H for British Thomson-Houston who were a subsidiary company for General Electric (GE). Based in Rugby, Warwickshire, they known primarily for electrical systems and steam turbines.

The condition of the paint finish was so poor that we decided that this sign would benefit from a paint strip and polish to fully reveal the detail in the logo.
There are four holes around the edge which can be used to fix this plate into place.
An interesting item for anyone with an interest in British Engineering history.
Size 33cm diameter. Weight 1.4kg
