‘Rutland’ XL Art Deco White Glass Pendant Light

An extra large and bold style pendant light. The tall glass shade is gently tapered with a decorative double ring around the middle. The base comes to a gentle point. This light fitting dates back to the Art Deco era and is in an unusual and eye catching style.
The aged brass gallery fittings are original to the shade.
The opaque quality of the layer glass gives off a wonderful even glow when lit yet is still eye-catching when the light is switched off.
White glass lighting from the early 20th century never dates and looks equally stylish in a period home or a modern setting.
Opaline white glass became very popular during the Art Deco period and was produced in many different shapes and styles. Geometric designs and simple shapes were typical of the period.
To personalise our white glass lighting we give them individual names. This one has been named ‘RUTLAND’.
Wired with 1 metre of dark brown fabric twisted cable. Other colours are available on request.
Matching suspension chain and hooked ceiling plate supplied.
