‘Tarquin’ Art Deco White Opaline Glass Pendant Light
Nicely shaped pendant light with a beautiful glossy shine to the opaline glass. This style of shade is often called a chapel light as they were often used in churches but also in offices and industrial buildings in the early to mid 20th century.
Both the glass shade and the gallery date back to the Art Deco era.
The gallery has only been lightly cleaned and waxed so that it retains the rich aged brass patina.
A white glass light emits light evenly without glare and look as good when illuminated as they does when switched off.
Size – overall height 34cm from bottom of shade to top of gallery hook. Diameter 30cm. Weight 1.7kg
