Wooden Box containing a  Set of Lead Toy Soldiers

This old wooden box is roughly made with a hinged lid.  the top is domed and retains the shape of the branch.

Inside are a set of 21 nicely detailed lead soldiers which are Prussian Fusiliers.

The toy soldiers vary in their poses.  Some are standing, some are aiming their rifles, others are on horseback.

A lovely collection of toy soldiers in a box.  What would once have been every young boy’s longed-for Christmas present.

Size – box measures 15cm x 10cm x 10cm.  The soldiers vary in size but are approx 4cm high.

This is a vintage item and may have superficial scratches and signs of wear and tear.
