Art Nouveau GEC Light with Copper Foliate Design

Beautifully detailed art nouveau GEC Light featuring  oxidised copper leaves which create an ornate crown of this pendant light by GEC.  Dating back to the early 20th century and fitted with a contrasting brass gallery fitting.

Three short chains suspend this light from a hoop.  Can be fitted flush to the ceiling if preferred.

Fitted with a vaseline glass shade which has been made for us by a UK based artisan glass blower.

Art nouveau GEC lighting was very popular back in the early 20th century with catalogues containing a huge range of beautiful lighting.

Size

Height from the copper leaves to the bottom of the glass shade 30cm.  Overall height from top of hanging hoop to the bottom of the glass shade 50cm.  Width of the copper leaf canopy 40cm.

Wired with approx. 1 metre of antique gold braided flex.  Fitted with a new bayonet fitting (size B22). PAT tested by an independent electrician.
